About me

Who am I?
Thanks for visiting my webpage. I am Pravin Kolhe, a self-motivated person always wearing the 'Thinking Cap'.  I am self confident, determined and focused guy... never looses hope. Takes up everything positively... including failures and disappointments... because I believe that "Positive pictures come from negatives developed in dark room. So sometime if you feel lonely and in dark, understand God is working on a beautiful picture". George Bernard Shaw quoted as- 'A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable but more useful than a life spent in doing nothing' and I think, we learn wisdom from failure much more than from success. We often discover what will do, by finding out what will not do; and probably he who never made a mistake never made a discovery...!

What is my passion?
"What do you want to do with your life?" I just finished post-graduation from IITK and the question stared me in the face. After so many years of school and college life, I finally felt free to discover the answer to this question. Figuring out what you want to do is a strange thing. You'd like to know what you want to do while you are in school/college, because then you'd feel like your education had a purpose. This may be true for people who decide their career first and then choose what they will study.
During my stay at IIT Kanpur, I decided that my education was not going to decide my career. My education was strictly for my benefit, to learn about my world and to learn to make changes to society. My educational background in positive and creative thinking attitude would be very important to me, no matter which field I chose to work in....! After completing MTech the question I had asked myself so many times before suddenly became the most urgent question in my life. However, it was now a different question, and it focused my mind on the right priority. I stopped asking what I wanted to do with my life. Now I was asking, "What is my passion?"
My passion wasn't joining software job, or job in MNC. My passion wasn't going to abroad, for I knew I dreaded it. I realized that my mission is to serve others and somehow to contribute to making this world a better place. Now I live to give...I am not a priest; I am simply a man who has found his soul and goal... When I looked deep down, I desired to work in India, for India...so I decided to join government service. I wanted to be a positive influence for others....!! I don't know whether I can do this much, but I don't want to run behind money and power...I just want to enjoy my life..!!

About hobbies
...apart from my interest in web designing, I like watching documentaries, reading books, collecting nice articles, swimming and listening songs.

What else I have to say?
Every event has a purpose and every setback is a lesson. I have realized that failure, whether of the personal, professional or even spiritual kind, is essential to personal expansion. It brings inner growth and a whole host of psychic rewards. Never regret your past. Rather, embrace it as the teacher that it is.
I thought that ultimately, life is all about choices. One destiny unfolds according to the choices one makes, and I felt certain that the choice I had made was the right one. I knew my life would never be the same and that something marvelous, may be even miraculous...!!
In walk with life I have explored a truth that no knowledge, no principles, no attitude is worth until it pays you in terms of good marks in academics, in terms of money, in terms of fame, in terms of social work. Knowledge is like a fantasy. It thrills you. You love it. But it is just an entertainment until it is useful in real life. Rest is just an entertainment to your brain. The biggest factor which drives me is luck and chance. Prayers help but it suck my soul till I get favorable result. You have limited time and energy. Youth is limited. Weak mind will always oppose smarter one. life is a distorted binary channel. I am just struggling, still STRUGGLING...!
